How Referrals and Payments Work

Last updated: October 2026

This page explains the role of Douglasinformation Garage Doors and the payments it may receive. It is a general template, not legal advice.

Connecting You With a Provider

Douglasinformation Garage Doors provides marketing and referrals for independent garage door repair and installation providers. Our service works like an introduction between a homeowner and a separate business. We perform no garage door work, including repairs, spring replacements or opener installations, and sell no parts.

Using the site's listed number or submitting a form may route your inquiry to an independent provider or a marketing partner working with nearby providers.

Compensation for Referrals

Providers or marketing partners may pay Douglasinformation Garage Doors for calls, form submissions or other referrals. Payment may depend on factors such as call length or whether the call is answered. We may receive payment even if you do not hire the provider.

These payments do not change the price quoted to you. For approved work, you pay the provider directly at the prices that provider sets.

Separate Business Responsibilities

Providers are independent businesses, not employees, agents or partners of Douglasinformation Garage Doors. Each alone is responsible for:

• Quotes, prices and terms
• Work quality and timing
• Licenses, insurance and warranties it provides
• Communication and conduct at your home

A connection does not constitute an endorsement. We make no promise concerning provider work. Our payment model means the provider you reach may depend on which businesses are participating in our network at that time.

Deciding Whether to Hire

You have no obligation to hire a provider following a referral. Before choosing, ask questions, verify credentials, request a written quote and consider other options.

Tracking and Recording Calls

Calls placed through the site may be tracked. Some may also be recorded for quality, verification and billing purposes.
